Instructions for Using Site-Wide Search: Examples

  • To find either horse OR bicycle (or both) type this:
    horse OR bicycle (or simply separate words by spaces)
     
  • To find both motorcycle AND helmet in the same result, type:
    motorcycle AND helmet
     
  • To get results with the exact phrase "higher education" use quotes to surround the phrase, as in:
    "higher education"
     
  • To search for pets but not return results that also have dog or dogs, use:
    pets NOT dog NOT dogs (or simplify as: pets -dog -dogs)
